Pictured is the orphanage in Tra Vinh Province, Vietnam that cared for Oliver, from the day of his birth until the day he traveled to America at 3 1/2 months of age.

The compound consisted of just “3” buildings. I was told that they were old military barracks left over from the Vietnam War.

The photos above were taken by me on the day we arrived in 1997. The children present live at the orphanage with Oliver. Half of the children were present, the other half were in school. The school children are split into two groups.
