Judo
At the age of 7 years old, Oliver started the sport of Judo.
His club was Budokan Judo Club in Hialeah, Florida.
Oliver was taught Judo by head coach Evelio Garcia and assistant coach John Corley.
Oliver stayed in the sport until the age of 12 years.
Below are some of the friends Oliver made.

Budokan Judo Coach Evelio Garcia
Not enough can be said about Judo coach Evelio Garcia. Evelio has trained more Judo champions than any one coach. Students that got their start with Evelio Garcia often went on to state and national championships. Too many champions were made in the Budokan to mention here; some of these champions have taken their sport all the way to the Olympic platform. Evelio has dedicated his life to the sport of Judo; to have been trained by Evelio Garcia was a privilege.
Thank you Evelio for my instruction and your friendship.
